Animal Welfare technician (over 18yrs only)
Volunteer Position
Although you’ll get to do lovely jobs like feeding animals, you’ll also have to do the mucky stuff like cleaning where the animals live. However, this is only part of the job and there’s still other fun parts of the job such as exercising, getting animals socialising and grooming. Times: 9am to 12.30 pm, 1pm to 4pm or all day vacancies
Driver
Volunteer Position
Over 25 with a full clean driving licence. Small local driving jobs to supermarkets collecting from our food collections bins. Minimum hours but a firm commitment required.

Dog Walkers (over 18 only)
Volunteer Position
Enthusiastic reliable adults required for dog walking. You must be physically able, (some of our dogs are boisterous and strong) and reliable. A calm but confident person.
We need walkers between 9am-11am and 1pm-3pm Monday to Saturday. And 9am-12pm on Sundays.
Even just an hour of your time really helps out.
Kennel Assistants (over 18 only)
Volunteer Position
Enthusiastic reliable adults required for kennel cleaning. You must be physically able, and reliable. A calm but confident person, with good cleaning standards.

Receptionist (over 18 only)
Volunteer Position
During the mornings we can get busy so we are looking for a volunteer/s to man the phone and our reception between the hours of 9am and 12.30.
Previous administrative experience. Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Excellent organisation and administration skills, including good attention to detail.
Gardener
Volunteer Position
We have a large site which requires garden maintenance. We are looking for a volunteer, maybe retired, who enjoys gardening and would like to help us keep our animal occupied areas looking good. We have flower beds and a cat enclosure garden. Jobs will include trimming, weeding and watering.
Ground Maintenance
Paid Position
During the summer months we require a contractor to come in on a regular basis and cut back the front grass banks, dog exercise area and road way/car park. You will require your own Insurance and equipment.

We are currently looking for members to create a volunteer fundraising team.
This will involve a few hours of your time creating and or attending fundraising events. If you have any experience in organising events or feel you could give your time we would love to hear from you.
