Giving Up A Pet
A member of our animal welfare team will ask you some questions and gather more information about you and your pet. We may ask for photos and to be provided any veterinary records.
We’ll discuss whether we can provide your pet with a new home and if we currently have space. We may be able to provide support to keep your pet in your home to see if the situation improves. Demand on our services is extremely high and we may have a waiting list. If we are unable to help, we will give you advice on what to do next.
We appreciate sometimes you may feel desperate but please never abandon your pet or place an advert on social media. This is incredibly traumatic for your pet and criminal gangs are using animals for baiting and breeding.
All pets will be assessed by our team, so that we can provide them with their individual requirements and match them with the right home. Any medical or behavioural issues will be addressed before appearing on our website for homing.
What if I can no longer
Keep my ARC pet?
Any pet previously from ARC, will always be prioritised and made room for as soon as we can. However, we will endeavour to advise, to help you keep your pet.

Help Us With Fundraising
We are currently looking for members to create a volunteer fundraising team.
This will involve a few hours of your time creating and or attending fundraising events. If you have any experience in organising events or feel you could give your time we would love to hear from you.
