To help our needy animals
Our Charity relies heavily upon volunteers who graciously give up their spare time in order to play their part in helping the many desperately needy animals in our care.
Everyone has something to give – it may not necessarily be the obvious such as dog walking or making friends with the cats – but can be far-reaching such as public relations, woodworking, gardening (flower baskets, etc.) animal painting & sketching, driving, computer skills, and so on. We are always eager to hear from people who want to help.
Commitment
We are a Team
We do ask that volunteers must commit to a regular schedule, even if it’s an hour a week. We are a team and rely on having all hands on deck. Please bear in mind, hours can be unsociable, wet and include some bank holidays. A volunteer role can be hard work but incredibly rewarding and an opportunity to meet new people or learn new skills.
There are still other fun parts of the job such as exercising, getting animals socialising and grooming the domestic animals. You’ll also perform health checks and give medical treatments
