Wildlife Caring for wildlife 18-09-2009 Prevention of suffering by providing a safe haven for all animals at risk has always been our Charity’s objective and quite naturally, therefore, rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife frequently comes within our agenda. On the wild side 19-09-2009 Our local Badger Group Field Officer, Derek Barry, recently brought to our attention the plight of Patch, a three-month old badger cub who, upon venturing to the surface from it’s sett probably for the very first time, received extensive life-threatening bite wounds from dogs running loose.
