Offering our animals a home

If you would like to offer any of our animals a home we have a proceedure in place to ensure that all our animals are paired correctly with their ideal family. We are very proud of our excellent success rate when homing.

Firstly, we ask for you to make an appointment to visit us, this way, we can get a feel for the cat / dog or small animal you are looking for. No one knows the animals better than our carers and this is a real bonus for matching personalities! Call us on 01279 501547 to make your initial appointment.

Secondly, if you have found that peeeeerfect match we will ask you to complete an application form. You will be asked questions about working hours, garden sizes etc. You may need to visit several times before you find your sole mate.

Finally, if you have chosen a dog we will send someone from our homing committee to visit your home for a chat and a cup of tea. They will discuss all aspects of taking on a rescue dog and to make sure your home and lifestyle is going to fit in with the dog you have chosen.

If all has gone well, we will arrange a date to collect your new family member. We will ask for a donation to help us continue to provide other animals with the same care. A donation guide will be given to you.
